The photographer Karl Blossfeldt writes in ‚Wundergarten der Natur’ that every plant is built up in an architectural way, which creates forms and shapes. In this sense nature becomes our ‘instructor’ for art and technique.
I made jewellery and objects which are in the broader sense related to nature. All pieces are build up out of lines and dots. There are different groups of work for which I use different techniques. One group of earrings and brooches are for example put together out of little loops whereas another group is made out of folded silver sheets. All pieces have the repetition in commen. They are plain and formalizing. The lines and dots create a graphik ornamentation.
